I recently had the opportunity to try a local craft coffee; Beachcomber Coffee. Beachcomber Coffee is a blend of three different beans from Costa Rica, Brazil, and Guatemala. The first thing I noticed when cracking open the bag was the aroma of fresh coffee, I was hit with a wave of deliciousness that made me eager to get out the grinder!
Into the grinder these fine smelling beans went. I used a standard drip coffee maker to brew my first pot and the aroma lit up the kitchen. I’m a cream and no sugar kinda guy and I must say, a little cream with some freshly brewed Beachcomber Coffee seemed to be a match made in heaven.
Of course I had to use my super-size coffee mug as I wanted to drink as much of this stuff as possible. I can confirm that the taste is as good as this stuff smells. There’s absolutely no after-taste, no bitter notes, no gut-rot, but instead a smooth, chocolate-nut coffee drinking experience. I can also confirm that I now drink this stuff on a daily basis, well done Beachcomber Coffee Company – my new coffee blend of choice!
